This May, the Project MaVen team convened in Toronto for our second annual full-team meeting. Team members joined us from across Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe for two days of progress updates, milestone planning, and collaborative workshops.

Despite a second year of uninterrupted rain (ur sincere apologies to our out-of-town attendees—sunshine will be specially ordered for next time), the energy in the room was exceptional. Team members made the most of their time together, strengthening collaborations across sites, disciplines, and worksteams.

A particular highlight was welcoming our newly recruited Patient Partners, who joined us for the second day’s sessions on clinical translation considerations. Their contributions provided an important reminder of the real-world impact toward which our collective work is directed.
