Project MaVen trainees had the opportunity to showcase their work in a special symposium at this year's Till & McCulloch Meetings (TMM), hosted by the Stem Cell Network in Ottawa in early November. Six of our PhD students, postdoctoral fellows, and research associates presented their research progress as part of the session titled: Making Ventricles: Advances from Project MaVen in Stem Cell-Based Cardiac Regeneration. The session was kicked off by Project MaVen's lead PI, Michael Laflamme, who introduced the NFRF-T program and provided an introduction to MaVen's ambitous goals.
